What is a Foundtrack?
I love a good story. And if it’s combined with amazing visuals and direction plus a great soundtrack then all the better.
Foundtracks are the process of taking an existing ad, trailer or scene and adding new, emotional music and sound design. The best way of doing this is to not listen to the original score at all before you begin, so you’re doing something fresh and are led by the visuals.
I’m always happy to hear of new scenes or footage that can be considered as a Foundtrack - let me know if you’ve seen something that hits the brief.
All Foundtracks visuals and scene audio are used for educational purposes and the rights remain with the original artists.
